What it is
Lunar Foundation Model is an open foundation model for lunar remote sensing, released jointly by NASA and IBM on 10 Sep 2026. The companion benchmark SomBench covers roughly two million tiles. Training and inference run through TerraTorch. License: Apache-2.0.
